We destroy both hard disk drives (HDDs) and solid state drives (SSDs) by industrial shredding. Shredding breaks each drive into small pieces, so the data cannot be read or rebuilt. Does this work for SSDs as well as traditional hard drives?
Yes. We destroy both HDDs and SSDs. The physical destruction method is different from degaussing, which only works on magnetic HDDs.
What is the difference between degaussing and hard drive destruction?

Do we need to remove drives from laptops and servers first?
No. You can hand over complete laptops, desktops and servers, and we will remove the drives for destruction. The remaining equipment can be recycled or, if working, assessed for buy-back.
